Most travel experiences are fragmented across multiple systems. Users discover hotels in one place, manage bookings through email confirmations, and contact support through separate channels.
This fragmentation creates unnecessary friction during the booking and travel management process. Users often struggle to track reservations, access information about their stay, or resolve issues quickly.
The opportunity was to design a mobile-first interface that centralizes discovery, booking, notifications, and support into a single product experience.
The platform allows users to browse travel options and explore destinations directly from the application.
Users can search for:
• flights between destinations
• hotels and resorts
• available accommodations
• travel options for upcoming trips
Listings provide clear visual previews, property information, and relevant details to help users decide quickly.

Once users find a suitable option, the booking interface allows them to confirm reservations directly within the app.
The system supports booking for:
• flights
• hotels and resorts
• accommodation stays
The booking experience is designed to minimize friction by presenting pricing clearly and providing a single action to confirm reservations.

The product design process began with early concept sketches created in FigJam, where the initial user flows and travel booking experience were mapped out. These concepts were then translated into structured wireframes in Figma, allowing the navigation structure and screen hierarchy to be refined before visual design began. Once the user flow was validated, the final interface design was completed in Figma, including layout structure, typography, and interaction patterns. The application is currently being implemented using a cross-platform mobile development stack that targets both iOS and Android, ensuring the product can deliver a consistent experience across devices while maintaining a single maintainable codebase.

This project demonstrates the development of a mobile travel platform that connects multiple travel services into one cohesive interface.
Product design thinking
The system combines discovery, booking, and travel management into a continuous user journey.
Mobile-first interface design
The UI focuses on clarity, readability, and efficient navigation suited for mobile environments.
End-to-end product workflow
The project shows the process from concept sketching through wireframing, interface design, and implementation.
Application-level product thinking
Rather than isolated screens, the work focuses on how a complete travel application should function.

Subtle demonstrates how travel platforms can simplify the trip planning process by combining flight search, accommodation discovery, booking, and travel updates into a single mobile experience. The result is a cleaner and more structured interface that allows users to manage their travel without switching between multiple systems.

The interface was designed around three principles:
Clarity
Travel information should be easy to scan and understand quickly.
Speed
Users should be able to move from discovery to booking with minimal steps.
Focus
The interface avoids unnecessary complexity and keeps attention on travel options and booking actions.

Future iterations of the platform may expand the product into a broader travel ecosystem and these include:
• integrated payment systems
• itinerary planning tools
• airline integrations
• loyalty and rewards features
• trip recommendations powered by user preferences
These additions would allow the platform to evolve into a more comprehensive travel management tool.
